News from the 2010 TAAF Walk

AVMSurvivors.org friends and family,

This past weekend was the annual TAAF (The AVM and Aneurysm Foundation) walk in San Francisco. There were several members representing the web site there, including folks from as far away as Alaska and New York City. TAAF managed to raise over $40,000 for AVM/Aneurysm research.

Many of you have already received your T-shirts! International members who purchased T-shirt will have to be a little more patient, but they are on their way.

If you were unable to make it, we missed you this year, but you can still share in the fun through the photos that Eric Kroll posted today!

Cheers,
Your Friendly Moderators

Hi Ben,
Well done! What wonderful news. A big congratulations to all involved.

Wish we could have been there, perhaps another year! My husband received his T-Shirt yesterday, and was very excited and will wear it with pride and spread the AVM word! A special thanks to Shalon for mailing and many thanks to all who worked so hard on the shirts! This organization rocks!
Blessings!
Marie & Steve

Congrats!

So THAT is where Bar stole the pretty picture in the yellow flowers from! I saw it on his facebook page and was wondering how he got copies of the pics
It was such a great day (albeit window as evidenced by my crazy hair!) and it was awesome to meet more of our AVM family and enjoy T-shirt packing, dinner, and of course the walk!
We also have video (both Eric and I had cameras) and hope to get something up soon for everyone to see.
Marie- you are very welcome for the shirt! Eric was part of the “packing team” and Ben did the crazy trip to the post office with us. Team effort for sure. And we DO rock! We are the best support group that has ever existed! And I don’t think I’m biased one tiny bit
