Thank you all

I can not begin to express how inspired I am by all of you. I read your stories and I am at a loss for words. Your honesty and insight have helped us so much. I think Richies acceptance of all that has happened to him with such grace sometimes breaks my heart. I do not know that I would be able to handle things as well as you all do. Your ability to reach out and help others is amazing. I am not facing the challenges that you all are, yet you have taken the time to give me words of encouragement that I am so grateful for. I think there have been many gifts that we have received during this whole life changing event. We have been in this state just under five years and have made some wonderful friends here. The love and support we received from them was amazing. People I hardly knew at work, having been there only a month, gave us prayers, money and support, some of it from people I had never even met. Richie is the kind of guy that everyone loves, he could talk to just about anybody. I truly believe all of their support and prayers are a big part of why he is still here today. He and I have been together since I was seventeen years old, have grown up together and certainly had our ups and downs. This life changing event helped me to remember some of the reasons why I love him so much. It helped our family become closer, and our marriage stronger. Again, another reason to be grateful. I hope someday to find the right words to comfort one of you, as you have me.
